Ishita to Expose Raman – Yeh Hai Mohabbatein
The main leads on Ekta Kapoor’s newest venture, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein, lock heads this week as the drama pertaining child custody intensifies. Recently, audiences were introduced to Raman’s (Karan Patel) wife, Shagun (Anita Hassanandani).
As part of her introduction, it is revealed that Shagun left Raman in search for greener pastures, leaving behind a resentful Raman and timid Ruhi (Ruhanika Dhawan). Following the shocking occurrence, Raman distances himself from Ruhi, claiming that he sees Shagun in her and is afraid he will cause her harm if she is around her.
Ruhi however longs for her father’s love and finds it too, in a neighboring dentist, Ishita (Diviyanka Tripathi), who is unmarried because she is unable to bear children. After a series of unpleasant encounters, Ishita feels that Raman is unfit to be a father to Ruhi. This image of Raman fortifies in Ishita’s mind when she discovers that Raman came home drunk from a business party while leaving Ruhi in the care of an unfit nanny.
The nanny, unable to compromise her sleep for Ruhi’s sake gives her expired cough syrups while she is asleep to stop her coughing. She aspirated the poisoned medicine and is rushed to the hospital by Ishita, whom Raman’s mother believes to have kidnapped Ruhi. She files a complaint against her family, leading to the arrest of Ishita’s parents. While her parents are being mistreated in custody, Ishita’s fiancé decides to call off the engagement, leaving the family in tears.
In upcoming episodes, audiences will experience Ishita’s wrath as a result of this incident. She will take it upon herself to tell the media that Raman is an unfit father and does not deserve Ruhi. In turn, Shagun will come into the picture and use this opportunity to take Ruhi away from her father. Ishita will support the cause.
How will this further strain the already drifting relationship between the two neighbours? Will Ruhi be able to adjust to her life with her mother? Keep watching Yeh Hai Mohabbatein to find out.
