Viraf Phiroz Patel, the current leading man of Life OK’s Ek Boond Ishq, has decided to call it quits. Viraf’s portrayal of Mrityunjay Singh Shekhawat in the show was much loved by the audiences in this short span of time and his performances also got him accolades.
However, reportedly, due to an impressive offer from a big production house from Bollywood, Viraf is considering to quit Ek Boond Ishq.
In 2010, Viraf was seen on Rishta.com and Mahi Way on Sony Entertainment Television followed by one tele-film in Teri Meri Love Stories on Star Plus in 2012.
In 2012, he again made in to the headlines as he was supposedly the replacement choice for Barun Sobti in Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon. Allegedly, he also did shoot a few episodes for the show before suddenly the channel announced its closure. Viraf could not make it to the screen as the show went off air on 30th of November 2012.
He was then seen on Ek Boond Ishq, that started on 9th of September 2013. Surely within a very short run of the show, Viraf did leave a mark in the minds of the audiences. It will be tough to find a strong replacement to give Mrityunjay an equally charismatic second innings.
We wish Viraf all the luck for his Bollywood venture and also that he amicably bids a goodbye to his current show.
