One month from now and Beyhadh promos did hit our TV screens and no doubt the show is different and unique, something which we had never seen before on Indian television and surely intrigued me to watch the show and another reason the production house “Cinevistaas” who have always tried to serve something hatke and being a huge fan of Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai how I could I miss a show which was all set to thrill me. The show is not only urban and classy but contractive in its approach. Let’s not forget the amazing cast. Be it Jennifer Winget, Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani, all are doing perfect in their respective roles.
I am just blown away by Jennifer’s screen presence and her performance. She just surprises me every time I see her onscreen. Be it the right kind of attitude, her sensibility, her reaction, she never makes it look cliché or over the top. Jennifer with her power pack acting skills takes the show to another level. No one can understand and portray Maya better than her. Thanks to Jennifer Winget for giving me a chance to watch you perform so gracefully and I am in love with the character Maya.
Let’s talk about some of my favorite scenes of Maya. Well we can already see that Maya is falling in love with Arjun but since the show is all about extreme love and craziness, her madness or we call it Deewangi, Junoon, Pagalpan for Arjun is something we felt on Friday’s episode. Well if this just the start then what would be her actual madness when she and Arjun will come close to each other? The tagline “Had Se Zyada Kuch Bhi Acha Nahi Hota, Mohabbat Bhi Nahi” is all set to surprise us with coming episodes.
The scene where she is taking out her anger on the boxing bag, the flashback reflected how Maya felt weak as a women who could not protect herself from her creepy father but soon her anger turns into a sweet smile when she remembers how Arjun protected her from her dad and also promised to always stand by her as a pillar if anyone tries to harm her. It was the first sign of her falling for Arjun.
The scene is surely different as for the first time we get to seen a woman fighting her anger out through the boxing bag instead of a man, no doubt the creatives want to show a different perspective of today’s women who is not only feminine but powerful and strong at the same time.
