Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin : Star Plus’ New Show Is Another Remake Of A Bengali Daily Soap

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin

Star Plus is launching quite a number of new shows now. With old shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 and Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke going off air, new shows like Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 are going to replace the shows.

The promo of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin is already out. The show stars Neil Bhatt and Aishwariya Sharma in lead roles.

Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin’s promo shows how a girl is forced to marry a police officer forcefully. The police officer also marries her owing to his ‘duty’ and not out of love. The girl gets frustrated and vocally admits that the marriage just killed off her dreams. However, her new husband also admits that he loves someone else and the marriage isn’t something he was in favor too. But he promises that he will fulfill all her dreams. From the promo, it seems the show is going to be based on Marathi background.

The show is reportedly a remake of Star Jalsha’s Bengali daily soap ‘Kusum Dola’. ‘Kusum Dola’ had been quite a popular show amongst the Bengali audience.

After Anupamaa, which is a remake of ‘Srimoyee’, another popular Bengali show, Ghum Hai Kisike Pyaar Meiin, is going to be the 2nd such show that is getting recreated for Star Plus during this quarter of 2020.
