Hotstar to simulcast Game of Thrones’ eighth season

This is going to the last season of Game of Thrones and there is a lot of excitement in the minds and hearts of the die heart fans. To cater to these, Hotstar today announced a good news, which is that they will be able to watch the series along with the viewers in US on the streaming service. For those unware, the show air on Sunday at 9 PM which means it will be available to watch on Monday at 6:30 AM.

There has been no simulcast for Game of Thrones in India since season 5 and since this is the last season for the popular series it makes sense to have one now. In the last season, the full episode was leaked almost a week before the release and even now the written leak of the first episode was posted on Reddit! We sure hope that there are no more leaks and the viewers get to enjoy the last instalment of the series with a lot of excitement.

In addition to this, there have been two new show promos that were launched today. In the first of the two promos we see Jon Snow’s reunion with his sister Arya Stark. In the other short teaser, we see Tyrion Lannister, Varys and Ser Davos Seaworth marvelling at the dragons as it takes a flight above them!

The last season of Game of Thrones will air from April 14 and it consists of six new episodes of 60-90 minutes each. Post the show comes to an end HBO also plans to air a documentary that will take narrate and show behind the scenes action and will also give a glimpse of several prequel series that are in the various stages of production.
