The year 2018 is about to bid us goodbye and what a year this has been for television! Some really great shows were launched, some new faces made their debut and have now become a household name and some on-going shows rocked it with their tracks. All in all, it was a good year.
On that note, sharing the names of the shows that have set milestones in the year 2018 –
Ye Hai Mohabbatein –
The second longest running show of Star Plus and one of the most loved show, Ye Hai Mohabbatein set not just one but a couple of milestones this year.
The show completed its 1500 episodes and is about to complete 5 years of running successfully this December.
The show was shifted to a late night slot of 10:30pm this year and despite that, it has been successful in garnering good TRPs. This week, it became the slot leader with 1.6 TRPs in its bag.
Ye Hai Mohabbatein shot in the real underground caves for a sequence and though it was not a pleasant sight for us to watch our favorite Ishita, Raman, Pihu trapped inside that cave, but those scenes are etched in our memories forever because of the brilliance with which they were pulled out.
The performances of Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, Karan Patel, Ruhanika Dhawan and Shireen Mirza had us in tears. Knowing well that they must be using all the safety measures, we prayed for their well-being, that was the impact of this sequence.
Recently, actress Sudha Chandran made an entry into the show as Sudha Shrivastava and she has spiced up the things in Bhalla house like never before. With the sole motive of revenge, Sudha’s sons’ Rohan and Karan married Alia and Ruhi respectively and have now left them, demanding a divorce along with a compensation of ₹100 crores owing to the false accusations.
But as we have already seen in the promo that crossed more 2.5 million views on YouTube and trended at number one, Ishita is going to turn the tables in Bhallas’ favour and will teach her son-in-laws a lesson for life in the upcoming episodes.
It’s going to be a fun watch and needless to mention, a message for the society that being single or divorced or widowed are not a girl’s identity, girls are much more than that.
They are enough for themselves, they don’t need a man to take care of them, they can do that well, themselves and if they will be at the receiving end of injustice, they won’t take a backseat, let it happen and bear it all.
In fact, they will take the driver’s seat and will ride themselves out of that situation and emerge out as winners.
