1. The Silent Dance – The sudden rain amidst the game of dum charades with Rahul and Anjali rushing to the gazebo to avail shelter had its own beauty. Their dance to the tunes of rain, them communicating via only gestures and signs with their eyes speaking volumes and the building an intense moment between the two, the entire scene had a graph of its own. There’s probably nothing more romantic than the way how without even a single dialogue spoken their chemistry lit up the screens on fire!

2. The Shooting Star – The shooting star is one thing that the Indian kids got familiar with from this movie rather than their science books.
The scene when Rahul and Anjali are sitting in awkward silence at the summer camp, meeting after so many years and secretly making a wish at the sight of shooting star yet denying and questioning each other ‘kya manga?’, probably this was one scene where the comfort level of best friends took time to set in with the feelings of lovers bubbling up!

3. The Call Swap – Probably the scene of the movie that had everyone balling their eyes out due to the laughter that erupted from watching it. The scene had Aman aka Salman Khan and Rahul aka Shah Rukh Khan talking on phone to their respective Anjali’s. Well the only difference was the call swap due to the confusion, as a result of which we got to witness Aman flirting with an 8 year old while Rahul was just scolding a grown up woman like she was a toddler being a brat for her favorite toy. This scene can even today, set you rolling on floor with laughter.

4. The Post Leap Face Off- Ask the 90’s kid to sing a religious song for you and maybe you’ll end up listening to the rap and raw remix of ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’ from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Although the risk of receiving a flying flight slipper might be dangerously high, let’s admit we all once tried to reach that tempo even if we are genuinely singing that!

With the music on high speed in the background, Rahul running to the camp, the aaaaaaa….and the constant shifting amidst these frames with Rahul shouting ‘Anjaliiiii’ as he enters the prayer hall and witnesses his bestie Anjali was a scene so surreal and emotional to leave the memory. The way the two unknowingly get drawn towards each other and lift their hands for their patent greetings was just so heartwarming to watch.

5. The Basket Ball Match – The argument that whether girls can play basket ball or not probabkly started with this movie. Although Anjali was always a winner in every game during their college days, she eventually lost her first match to Rahul post the leap. That scene also signified that she had lost her heart to him too. And yeah, word of caution – Never play basket ball wearing a saree.
