Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi : Dev Dixit Learns – You Hurt Them The Most Whom You Love The Most!

Good afternoon everyone! Hope you guys are having a great Wednesday. Today it is quite hot in Kolkata.

Probably the heat has taken to my head and today it wants to work a little weirdly. So I will present my article too with a pinch of humour. Just so that you guys have something different to read! Straight cut words at times appear boring I guess.

So here you go –

Meet this man. He looks old enough but still goes to a school. The school’s name is ‘The Go-Na School’. That’s why probably he often stays confused about whether he is asked to ‘Go’ or been said ‘Na’.

Anyway, so this man in that school has two teachers. He learns from both. But the teachers have two different ways to teach him lessons and both of them are way different, not only in their approach but also with regards to their height. One teacher is probably one of the tallest female teachers in the world and another one is definitely the shortest teacher in the world. While one teacher believes in being strict and takes up the ‘scolding’ style to make him learn lessons, another one teaches him with love and innocence.

The school is also named after the names of the teachers – Golu and Sona (Go-Na). And it is widely believed that only these two teachers can make a tube light like Dev Dixit light up with his different ‘Eureka’ moments.

So today we will discuss two different kinds of teachers in Dev Dixit’s life and also the two different Eureka moments.

1.Have you ever seen a student coming to his teacher with full confidence to somehow confront her despite him being unable to complete his home work properly? The student wanted to throw the blame on the teacher that because she had his notebook, he could not complete his sums so in any way, the teacher is responsible for hiding his notebook.

But then the teacher is intelligent. She scolds the student saying that he is lazy, he could have completed the sums on another notebook and that he should have not have pretended to know it all.

The student then makes a puppy face as his confidence went for a toss and his impulsive blame instead of embarrassing the teacher, ended up embarrassing him only.

The same happened with Dev yesterday. He came up with full confidence to confront Sonakshi about Jatin. But Sonakshi gave him back by mentioning his innumerable number of girl friends in the past 7 years. That was a taunt that made Dev feel embarrassed. He wasn’t expecting that!

And last but not the least, her threat about never questioning her love for her daughter was the ultimatum that Dev definitely needed. The way he made a scary puppy face in front of her hearing all her words and trying to give an excuse of Suhaana, just made him look like a student getting punished for incomplete homework!

2. The next teacher is small when it comes to height but is definitely more intelligent than the tube light we are talking about. Unknowingly, this small teacher end up giving such unexpected ‘Eureka’ moments to Dev. Yesterday, Dev Dixit, in his anger started doing push ups. Why? Oh, because the teacher whom he loves had hurt him (Awwww….such a baby Dev is!).

But then Golu, the small teacher, comes up to him with his share of lessons and teaches him how we always end up hurting those people the most, whom we love the most. The tube light started working again after this lesson! It lit up brightly and started pondering about how intelligent his small teacher is!

Only if he ever pondered about his own IQ then I would not have been making up student-teacher stories for a man of 35 years!

  1. Hello saheli,

I have a question to ask. Did you hear what sona said to dev yesterday? She said that she knows that dev kitne gfs ke saath reh chukaa hai. You always said in your articles and comments that dev was not sleeping around. Do you still feel that, please reply? One more thing going by the way ronita calls dev jibu and people taunt sonakshi as bhabhi I feel that they are noy divorced but just separated. Then it amounts to dev committing adultery, isn’t it? I have started hating dev’s character now.

  2. Dots anybody else feels like what we are seeing is a wrap up? They are tying all the loose ends, Khatri is back, Ish is gone to teerthyatra and who knows, shayad apne gine-chune papon ka prayaschit kar ke, ek reformed woman ho kar laute. Everything else is happening surreally fast, Dev suddenly wise enough to understand why he and Ms. Bose are hurting each other, Sonakshi talking to herself, saying sorry to Dev, Vicky bursting out his intention of finding his own feet to stand on, Wise characters of the story hinting on Devakshi uniting again….
I have a deep feeling of Onsra running through me right now. πŸ˜†

Disclaimer: I have never disliked Ish, at least not till just after leap. I have disagreed, been despaired at her actions and reactions, but saying all this, I see my mil in her and understand where she comes from. No ill will.

    • I hope it’s a false alarm and they aren’t gonna hurry the storyline and spoil the pace just to wrap it up.

  3. This time its Sona who is confusing me (for a change). How does she still see Dixit house as her own and get involved to this extent? Sad to see that. She’s like the typical Indian serial bahu who despite being so wronged is running around for the welfare of her family. And it is not even her family!
Asha’s comment on Sona not returning also scared me. Is she going to give in to her feelings so soon? Dev hasnt even begun to see how wrong he was with Sona. Its Dev who needs to spend time at the Bose house and not Sona.

    • Hi dolly,

Yup you are so right. The one person whose character was on track,I.e. sona’s character is being butchered by they have no work; why are they always at home? In this competitive world how is dev managing his business without any aggressive planning? The serial now a days is looking like a typical Saas bahu serial with every one always at home.sigh!!!

  4. Hi Saheli Ma’am,
I have not commented on one of your articles since last week, not because I have been unable to but because I felt that I would end up saying the same thing that is, when is Dev going to grow up? (*eyeroll*) Anyway while that question still persists, today my question is regarding Sonakshi, why is she adding to the already complicated situation? Ma’am do you by chance watch a Bengali show called Kusum Dola on Star Jalsha? The FL in that show, Emon, has to deal with an Ishwari type annoying sister in law, but unlike Sonakshi, Emon does not beat around the bush. If the SIL or other inlaws insult her, she gives it back to them measure for measure. She has a saying that if one does not have the courage (satsahas) to admit the truth or face the reality of a situation then one should not even get involved or comment on it either. I feel that both Sonakshi and Dev need to understand this if they want to move forward. Even if they do not communicate their feelings to each other, are they not grown enough to admit it to themselves? Hearing Sonakshi’s comment regarding Dixit House neither being apna nor paraya, I just felt like asking her how long she expects to paddle on two boats without falling? My humble request to the CVs is that KRPKAB is sprinkled with confused characters…please don’t add Sonakshi to the mix.

  5. Hello everyone
We all need teachers in our lives.Sometimes we select them.
People,relationships,books..all do teach us. The thing is we should bond with them and listen not to reply but to understand them.
For Dev,he has learnt to care, work hard from his Maa only.Definitely parent’s sacrifice can never be paid back ,but I believe if parents are enough why has God created other relationships in this world. They do have a part in our lives and if that is a positive one,why not go for it.
I mean,in Dixit house, from whom and what lessons can one learn ? Dev needed to go beyond his home-family-bondings. Is it not like this,Dev is not father of Golu but cares for him.Just like Jatin cares for Soha. Next time Dev taunts Sona abt Jatin ,I want her to site Golu and his bonding as an example.
I wish Dev can spend more time with Asha,Jatin at least.
    Take care ppl.

  6. Happy summer afternoon.. Saheli,
What a fresh and pleasant writeup you have given?!!! Enjoyed every bit of it. You have a great sense of humour and it did help me to have a big smile on my dull face.. I was really not happy today and so have tried to distract my mind watching the Ram Kapoor serial you suggested. Its more fun watching it rather than sulking.
Whatever Elena said was true, both have few things common and both try to ignore that. Dev is still feared by losing sona but won’t accept it and sona knows that he is jealous, but won’t clear why she’s doing all this and for what. You correctly said that a business tycoon needs a strict school teacher to make him realise and a small teacher who can point out his mistakes. My dev is a fast learner but he never had such amazing teachers till now so it’s late but at least he’ll learn.
The tits n bits are always amazing. Thank you so much πŸ’•.
Have a glass of fresh raw aam panna to keep the heat away. And enjoy.. Its Wednesday today. We’ll have some heavy emotions. πŸ’žπŸ’•πŸ’ž
