Colors’ latest sensation, Bani – Ishq Da Kalma, is witnessing major twists and turns as Bani (Shefali Sharma) and Rajji’s (Neha Baggha) wedding day nears. While Rajji still holds a grudge against Amreek (Vivek Mestri) for unknowingly adding to the rift between her and Bani’s family, Bani is marrying Parmeet (Gaurav Chaudary), an NRI man whom she has never met before. To add to the chaos, Bani is in love with Soham (Adhvik Mahajan), who reciprocates her feelings for him but is unable to marry her due to Bani’s mother’s selfish wish of having her married off to an NRI.
On one hand we see Bani battling with her feelings, trying to convince herself that it is best for her to marry Parmeet while on the other hand, Soham declares that he is no longer in love with Bani and has moved on. Despite such stern declarations, the love that the two have for each other is evident and heartbreaking to witness. While Bani’s family is engrossed in wedding preparations, Rano (Navni Parihar), Soham’s well wisher and a victim of a false NRI marriage, attempts to save Bani from becoming a hopeless bride like herself. She is determined to help Bani and Soham by confronting Bani’s mother, Desho (Ekta Singh).Rano was married to a Canadian NRI in hopes that she too would go to Canada. When her husband left, never to return, Rano’s family disowned her causing her to be traumatized for life. Knowing that Soham and Bani love each other, she wishes for the two to be married. Parmeet’s lack of interest in this alliance is further reason for Rano’s conviction. Desho, however, is blinded by the future prospects of her family. She wishes for Bani to go to Canada with Parmeet, so the rest of her family may follow. Convincing such an adamant woman is no easy task. In the coming weeks, we will witness Parmeet’s arrive just hours before the wedding, giving Bani no time to get to know him. What happens next?
