Madhubala and Qubool Hai with fast-track storyline are rising on the TVM charts.
Zee TV’s ‘always in the news’ show Qubool Hai has picked up on the TVM charts recently. The show has registered a growth from 6.2 to 6.9 TVM (TRP = 3.3). After the exit of Karan Singh Grover, the storyline is moving with a jet speed and finally the viewers now can witness the long awaited wedding ceremony of Asad and Zoya. With different twists and turns added to the track undergoing the arrangements of their upcoming wedding, the viewership figure for the show is also increasing.
Qubool Hai currently ranks 3rd in terms of TVM (TRP) figures among Zee TV’s overall current on air shows. However, Jodha Akbar is the topmost viewership gaining show on the channel.
Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon also saw a slight increase on the TVM meters. It increased from 4.0 to 4.3. The TVM period considered here had some engaging track on the show. It consisted of the end of RK and KRK track along with some lovey dovey moments between RK and Madhubala and the birth of their first child in a studio.
The upcoming week’s TVM might increase more as the episodes within that time frame will include the end of superstar RK and Madhubala paving way for a new track after a leap of 20 years. Madhubala’s story post the leap is also moving ahead with tremendous speed.
Even with dipping TVM (TRP) figures Madhubala still ranks 5th all over among the Colors’ currently on-air shows. However, Comedy Nights With Kapil is the highest viewership earning show on the channel.

Diya Aur Baati Hum continues to rule the charts of Star Plus being the number one show in the channel along with CID being the most popular show on Sony in terms of TVM figures.
The TRP was the earlier rating mechanism used by TAM. Under the Television Rating Points (TRP) system, the numbers were presented in terms of percentage points. Recently TAM adopted the new procedure of TVT (Television Viewership In Thousands) to publish the viewership figures. In TVT system the figures are expressed in absolute numbers instead of percentage points.
The more recent system of calculating TV viewership is the TVM (Television Viewership in Millions) system. Just as the name suggests, it expresses the TV viewership figures in millions.
Note : The TVM figures mentioned above are statistics considering the time frame of 26th January to 1st of February.
