What Makes Deepika Padukone The Queen Of 2013

Deepika Padukone has more than one reason to claim that the year of 2013 belongs to her. After delivering with four back to back blockbusters, she might be the highest paid actress today in the B-Town.

Deepika already bears the tag of being very punctual and professional. She hardly throws tantrums and is present at work always on-time. Her punctuality and just-in-time attitude even during interviews impressed a lot of journalists earlier.

Race 2 – Rs 1.62 Billion

For her the year of 2013 started off with Race 2. The Abbas Mustan’s sequel went on to become a huge blockbuster hit earning Deepika her first commercial success of the year. Race 2 was the first film to enter the 100 crore club in 2013.

Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani – Rs 3.02 Billion

She came back in limelight with the release of Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani along with Ranbir Kapoor. The film made headlines not only because of its huge box-office collections but also because it was her first onscreen appearance with Ranbir after their major breakup. If we come to think of it, hardly we will find any previous couple who came together again for a film after parting their ways.
