‘D-Day’, the newest Bollywood spy thriller cum action drama is going to hit the city theatres soon with its new wow factor that lies within the much awaited look of Rishi Kapoor, stepping into the shoes of the once under-world don, Dawood Ibrahim. This Rauf Lala spice is skillfully used by the director Nikhil Advani to flavor his new invention in the film. Rishi Kapoor has also been a bit uneasy to go for the character as it demanded to be more accurate than the real person in existence. Hence he had gone for the look test that ultimately gave courage to him as well as the director to put forward their venture in front of the audience.

The costume styling made the characters perfectly acceptable on the screen as the story demands. Specially that of Rishi Kapoor playing the role of a good man in the daylight and the baddy in the dark, code named Goldman by the Indian security Establishment.  From the first look itself the rawness of the character peers through his black moustache and the retro look-wala red aviators. The sturdiness in His white, blue and brown suits and silk kurtas with black hair and thick moustache urges the viewers to expect lots more from the coming days. The character of a RAW agent will be played by Arjun Rampal. So the fight between the good and bad will be a ‘tagra’ one.

Nikhil Advani’s Kal Ho Naa Ho has been the biggest success. This time Nikhil is having as much as five National Award winners in this movie. The other characters played by Arjun Rampal, Huma Qureshi, Irrfan Khan and Shruti Hassan. Music composed by Shankar Mahadevan. Film produced by DAR Motions and Emmay Entertainment.

The first official teaser of the movie was released on May 13,2013. It has already gathered many notices from the big stars and critics. The first look is full of gun shots and bombings all around alongwith the entry of the don, Rishi Kapoor as Goldman. The consecutive snapshots of Arjun Rampal, Huma Qureshi, Irrfan Khan and Shruti Hassan follow. It is good to see that the director has taken special care for each and every characters to be portrayed on screen. The intelligent designing of costumes has been according to the demand of the script.

The event of bagging the National Award is going to work well for the publicity of the movie. Not only that, the actors are also confident enough to gift the viewers with another masterpiece in bollywood that will be remembered for long.

Now the team is desperately waiting for the thumbs up from the viewers for the movie that will be releasing on 19 July, 2013.
