Sony TV’s new show Pehredaar Piya Ki has kicked off and we must say that it had a stellar beginning. The show that started today has an interesting story and a new concept, which has not been explored in Indian television since a long time.

The character of prince Ratan Singh is played by child artist Afaan Khan whereas Diya is played by none other than Tejaswi Prakash, who rose to fame after essaying the role of Ragini in the show Swaragini which aired on Colors TV.

So without much ado, here goes the review of the first episode of Pehredaar Piya Ki for our lovely readers and Tejaswi Prakash admirers.

A Royal Setting In Rajasthan

The episode started with the Kesar Mahal situated in Surajgarh of Rajasthan. We were introduced to Data Hukum Maan Singh, the reigning king, who has still preserved the traditions of their clan.

His son Ratan Singh who is of 9 years old is the heir of the kingdom. And that’s why his life is in danger. A part of their palace is being used as a hotel for tourists.

The story is of a royal family and the grandeur was clearly visible from the beautiful costumes and settings. So viewers, if you want to get yourself transported to the magnificent palaces of Rajasthan, then you must give this show a try!
