Preity Zinta Case : Two Key Witnesses Gave Statement Against Ness Wadia

Actress Preity Zinta has accused her former boyfriend of eight years, Ness Wadia of threatening and abusing her during a match at Wankhede stadium on May 30th. Ness and Preity co-own the cricket team, Kings XI Punjab.

The case has turned into a mud-slinging contest. Preity has alleged that Ness had abused her inside the Wankhede stadium. She said that he pulled her by her arm and abused her in front of many people. She has also claimed that he has often harassed her after their break-up. Meanwhile, from Ness’ camp, it is reported that Preity and Ness got into an argument over the fact that Ness’ mother faced a lot of discomfort during the match.

The witnesses have recorded their statements to the police. Jai Kanojia, who is a common friend of Ness and Preity’s has said that he saw Ness drag Preity, but could not hear any of the conversation due to the commotion at Garware Pavilion, which is where the incident took place.

Preity’s neighbor, Danish Merchant is one of the four key witnesses and he has alleged that he saw Jean intervene when Ness grabbed Preity’s arm. He also said that he heard Jean (American National) tell Ness to ‘back off’ and ‘stay away from her’. Danish further claimed that Preity showed him the bruises on her arm the next day on May 31st.

The police plan to take down the statements of others that were present when the alleged incident took place. Parul Khanna (journalist), Shailesh Gupta (COO Of Kings XI Punjab), Tara are amongst some of the names of the witnesses that the police will record statements of.
