Rajat Tokas, who won hearts as Akbar of Jodha Akbar on Zee TV is all set to return back on screen yet again in another historical show. Balaji Telefilms will soon be launching its new show ‘Chandra Nandini’ on Star Plus based on the life and love of Emperor Chandragupta Maurya and his wife Nandini. The show will be starring Rajat Tokas in as the Emperor and Shweta Basu Prasad and Nandini.
The channel has recently launched the first glimpse of Rajat Tokas in a promo. The promo looks intriguing and talks about the emperor who gifted his wife with lifelong imprisonment soon after getting married. The promo looks intense, dark and attractive. Rajat Tokas is also looking quite different in the new look. His attitude in the promo will make his fans fall for him once again.
The show is all set to start airing in the coming month of October 2016. Reportedly, most of the shooting for the show has been taking place at Patna which had been the historical city of Pataliputra.
