Saraswatichandra – Will Saras and Kumud Tie The Knot This Time Around?

Saras and Kumud in Saraswatichandra
Saraswatichandra: Kumud and Saras

Saraswatichandra is high on drama with kite flying, wounded Saras, love confessions and yet uncertainty rules about the lovers being together

Sphere Origins’ Saraswatichandra on Star Plus is currently entertaining the viewers with the track of good times. Currently the show is seeing the leading protagonists, Saraswatichandra Vyas (Gautam Rode) and Kumud Desai (Jennifer Winget) getting together once again. After a lot of ups and downs the show is currently in a phase of Saras and Kumud’s love at its peak and the two of them together thinking about a happier tomorrow.

‘Let no evil come close to them’; is the exact thought one gets when they see Saras and Kumud in the current phase.

The recent episode witnessed a kite competition between Saras and Kumud. Many of the viewers might remember the importance of ‘Kite’ in Saras and Kumud’s life as it made an appearance during 2013’s Sankranti episode too. This year again there is a challenge thrown and the same is accepted.

In today’s episode audience witnessed Saras agreeing to Kumud’s whims and trying to win the kite contest though his hand got cut. It showed how vital it was for Saras to win the contest and win Kumud. On the other side we also saw Kumud’s concern overpowering her and her tending to Saras’s wound. In all of this there is an undeniable sweetness. Topping it all Saras confessed his love to Kumud in a perfect way, just plain heartfelt words and flying lanterns adorning the skies.

Life does not go on without ‘Ifs and Buts’ and even in this situation raising a wee bit of doubt there is a lingering ‘But’. During the Kite competition when Saras and Kumud’s Kite was competing with each other high above in the skies, there came a third black Kite. Now the point is not that there was another Kite in the sky, it is obvious that during the Sankranti festival, Kites are flown but what caught our eye and perked our ears was the importance given to this third black Kite. Dugba (Ragini Shah) exclaimed about the appearance of the black kite further stating as to why this Kite is after Saras’s Kite (to cut it off).

This is ought to raise an ample of doubt of whether Saras and Kumud will tie the knot this time around or are there more hardships written for the two of them before they can actually unite?

We really do not know what is going to happen but we are reminded of a popular phrase used in Baazigar by Shahrukh Khan ‘Haar Kar Jeetne Waalne Ko Baazigar Kehte Hain’, likewise we believe that come what may nothing can separate Kumud and Saras though Saras lost the Kite competition he still won over Kumud. Whether together or apart they would be always with each other.

Certain questions are bound to rise like whom did the black kite belong to? Why was the person behind the black kite targeting Saras’s Kite? Is this man behind the kite going to create trouble for the lead protagonists of the show? This particular scene was surely a symbolic one that indicated the future lying ahead.

Furthermore some other questions are also bound to arise, question of whether Kusum (Shiny Doshi) has really transformed into a new leaf or Kusum is putting up a facade hiding her vile intentions?

All this and more will be answered as and when the story of Saraswatichandra progresses.

While on one hand we have Saras and Kumud who are knitting and making dreams for a better and happier tomorrow topped with their togetherness, there are some evil eye all set to separate them.

We like many of you wish that Saras and Kumud tie the knot at least this time around and then they can fight battles and hurdles on the way together once bound in the holy ties of matrimony but will their wedding happen this time or is there a storm of separation is awaiting them, only time will tell.
