As per reports, Star Plus is all set to go for a revamp and has a range of shows to be launched in near future. However, the channel’s GRPs increased a bit as per last week’s numbers.
Star Plus now stands at 3rd position among the top 5 GECs, 4 of its daily soaps (Ye Hai Mohabbatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Ishqbaaz and Kullfi) are gaining 2.0+ TRPs (as per Week 14’s data) unlike any other GEC currently as rest of them have maximum two daily soaps crossing the 2.0+ mark, as per this week’s BARC data.
Naamkarann that was stuck at 1.5 TRPs at an average since a long time did hit 1.9 this week and stands at 5th position on Star Plus currently.
As of the 9 pm slot, as per the latest week’s numbers, Kumkum Bhagya of Zee TV is at 2.2, Bepannaah of Colors is at 1.8 and Naamkarann of Star Plus is at 1.9, which apparently shows not much difference in the viewership of the shows last week.
However, with the upcoming leap in Kumkum Bhagya, the show is bound to increase its numbers pretty soon!
