Sometimes the best romances are the ones that end in tragedy, because not everyone is lucky enough to end up with the one they love, such as Radhe-Krishna, Romeo-Juliet, Heer-Ranjha, etc. In addition, the angst, passion and fatality of the characters of Romantic tragedies can tug at our heart, if executed with perfection.

Here is a list of our favourite Hindi Romantic Tragedies that graced the silver screen in the past 10 years:

1) Ghajini (2008):

Aamir Khan made a great and unique comeback as the love-lorn, broken and memory-losing lover in Ghajini.

This tear jerker and romantic thriller had the most fabulous songs the most haunting of which is the song Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gayi. It also gave us Asin as the sweet, chirpy, ray of sunshine female lead of the story.

The movie has the most hauntingly perfect endings that can melt a heart any day, and for us the movie is much more fabulous than the original English movie Momento, which this movie is based on.

    • I agree the first half of his stalking type love was a bit much in Ranjhanna, wish the first half of the movie was different than what they showed. I had completely forgotten how irritating his persistence was initially.

    • Thank you for understanding!!!

With Fuzion taking a stand against abuse on TV, I expect Fuzion to understand the implications of things shown on screen!!!
