Balaji Telefilms have a range of shows in their kit ranging from love stories, to family dramas, to historical shows, to mythologies.
It is the first production house to bring the saas bahu cult on Indian TV, it is practically impossible to select best shows from their huge kit of shows.
But we finally selected the two that have set standards in terms of programming, execution and original storytelling among others.
Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi –
Star Plus’ Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi was the first show that brought the saas bahu cult on Indian television. The show premiered its first episode way back in 2000 and the show was on-air until 2008.
The show revolved around the lives of Mihir and Tulsi. The storytelling of the daily soap was highly impactful. Even today Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, its twists and turns and the characters of the show are remembered.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein –
Star Plus’ Ye Hai Mohabbatein commenced on Indian TV way back in 2013. Revolving around the pure relationship of Ishita and Ruhi, since its very beginning the daily soap stuck a chord in the hearts.
With mohabbatein and emotions galore the show showcased the journey of Ishita – Ruhi – Raman. Ye Hai Mohabbatein has set high standards.
With a story woven very intricately, even after 4 years of its successful run on TV the daily soap is showered with love in abundance.
