Disney+ Hotstar has recently announced the release of 7 Bollywood movies on its platform.
The movies include Akshay Kumar‘s horror comedy Laxmmi Bomb, Ajay Devgan‘s Bhuj, Abhishek Bachchan‘s The Big Bull, Alia Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapoor starring Sadak 2, Vidyut Jammwal, Shiv Panditt and Annu Kapoor‘s Khuda Haafiz, Kunal Kemmu, Gajraj Rao and Ranvir Shorey starring Lootcase and Sushant Singh Rajput’s Dil Bechara.
The promotion of the movies have started with actors coming LIVE on the web platform to promote their respective movies.
Looks like Disney+ Hotstar completely ignored the 2 films and only opted to start off the promotions with the big star films.
Vidyut Jammwal on the issue has tweeted saying “A BIG announcement for sure!! 7 films scheduled for release but only 5 are deemed worthy of representation. 2 films, receive no invitation or intimation. It’s a long road ahead. THE CYCLE CONTINUES”.

Social media is buzzing with the hot topic of favoritism that exists within Bollywood and media.
The media has been blamed for publishing blind items, maligning the image of actors, scandalous reports and ignoring real talents.
It is being blamed how budding actors are not given enough importance and focus.
Disney+ Hotstar‘s this step simply makes it more apparent about how the system and the mindset requires a change.
Yes it does. Sadly & Rightly as Simon & Garfunkel said-After changes upon changes we are still the same. Keep fighting buddy. We’ve never met. But I feel what you’re saying. Stay strong.

Every film is made with a lot of love, a lot of sweat & a lot people giving it their all. Its only fair to want a little respect, its only fair to expect an invitation, its only fair to have at least been intimated. But then, sometimes even life is not fair. keep walking my friend https://t.co/xBZVf1cYHt
