‘Mishbir’, the name we fondly used to address our very own Abir and Mishti together.
But now, will this name be appropriate to signify the people who were making this word sound like magic in ears?
Will the name now carry the same essence it used to, till now?
Probably not. Because for now, the major separation and heartbreak amidst the two has broken the viewers hearts too. The two individuals who always fought for each other are now treading on their own separate ways because one of them fought with the other.
There are a certain things about the ongoing track in Star Plus’ Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke that will amuse you and the other ones which you might not find very pleasing.
Firstly, since the day ‘Meanu’ aka Meenakshi has tried to fill in Abir’s heart with poison for Mishti, we are glad that Mr. Ajeeb Rajvansh retained his habit for putting two and two together and refrained from doubting Mishti even when the odds were against her.(Irony how the man says he doesn’t trusts her anymore!)
Secondly, the guy didn’t even flinched once or questioned anyone when he got to know the real identity about his Naanko (Irony, how he rebuked Mishti for not having a family!)
Fate brought Abir on the crossroad where he was asked to choose once again between Kunal and Mishti and this time his love for his brother triumphed over his love for Mishti (Again an irony, because he even denied to choose when Kunal himself once asked him to do so)
There was nothing more emotional than the sad version of ‘Dheere Dheere Se Meri Zindagi Mein Aana’ echoing in the backdrop while Abir Rajvansh, with his own hands teared the very paper that signified his beginning with Mishti.
There was nothing more saddening to watch Mishti in a baffled state yet not giving up the urge to fight for her love all over again.
The stronger person, that Abir made Mishti into, was dominating him today. It has always been evident how even the unsaid was always understood between the two and hence it was even more difficult for Abir to get away from Mishti, as she herself said.
The girl fought, she shouted, she loved, she pleaded and she even showered her love on Abir in a way she didn’t ever before. Mishti came to him with her most vulnerable state and yet today, she faced something from Abir, she feared the most – Rejection.
It was truly heartbreaking to see Abir resolving to the most brutal measure to push Mishti away from himself and that was saying those harsh and cruel words which were even sharper than any physical pain would have been. The great deal of courage and the venom that he had to swallow to do that was evident through his eyes.
The viewers have been bawling their eyes out watching the last two episodes and probably a lot is still yet to come that is going to make everyone cry buckets of tears.
But there’s always this person, whom we are glad for being in Mishti’s life and that’s her Bade Papa. It would be unfair to not mention how this man has ever so strongly stood up for the rights of his daughters.
The time where still father’s plead the groom to marry their daughter, this man shows the spine to yell at everyone to stop worrying for Abir and get ready to support Mishti rather.
It’s hard to find such a man these days who supports his daughter the way Vishambhar Maheshwari does and yet is ready to rebel if his daughter’s respect is at stake. We can’t help but love him more for it!
We are pretty sure Vishambhar Maheshwari may be rebuked somewhere for being this brutal but coming to think of it, we have witnessed two different individuals in both Abir and Mishti’s lives. Meenu (Meanu), who has fought ‘with’ her own family always in the name of protecting them whereas it’s Vishambhar, on the other hand, who has always fought ‘for’ his family’s dignity.
This man has been a subject of respect for both Abir and Mishti and for Abir, even now, he would never look down upon him because Abir himself is a man who has stood for the dignity of every woman in his house.
Had it been Abir’s sister in Mishti’s place, he would have done the same for her!
Being a third person to know the reason for Abir’s action, we might find Bade Papa on the wrong side but looking at it from the latter’s view, he’s only safeguarding his daughter from further breaking down, for which he can never regret and be apologetic for!
It won’t be soon for Mishti and Abir to be ‘Mishbir’ again because this time, their love might have to cross some greater obstacles and now that the tables have turned, it would be Abir who would have to regain Mishti and her Bade Papa’s trust to establish the relationship.
Talking about how intensive and emotionally challenging the last two episodes have been, we have witnessed a brilliant performance from Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh’s end and looks like this isn’t all. Their terrific best is yet saved and about to come in the next week’s episodes but it’s inevitable how the two have convincingly made the audiences dive into the emotional phase that Mishbir is going through right now.
P.S – We are pretty sure the precap has the audiences intrigued. Mishti was never a girl who would cry over the petty state forever and even if she does for sometime out of pure emotional outburst, her giving it back to Meenu (Meanu) is already such a joyous thing to watch.
We are all ready with popcorn tubs in hand, waiting to watch Meanu Rajvansh where at last someone will have the reality slapped right into her face by giving her the check on future with brutal honesty.
