Bengal’s Howrah bridge is one of the busiest, oldest and grandest bridges of all time. Made by the British, it remains to be one of the most spectacular engineering marvels of India and for sure a place to look forward to for every tourist visiting Bengal.
Ekta Kapoor and Star Plus’ Kasautii Zindagii Kay too did shoot their initial episodes in the heart of the city of Kolkata and Howrah. Being a love story based in the city and involving Bengali characters, obviously the show had to come up a lot with locations from Bengal especially, Howrah and Kolkata.
In the episodes of the first week only, viewers got glimpses of Howrah Bridge in the show and various scenes were shot on the same bridge , in a moving car and on foot.
Erica Fernandes recently shared a throwback picture of hers on the Howrah Bridge during the shoot of Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
The picture looks radiant. Clicked by an iPhone, the speedy hustle bustle of the bridge is also given a different tone.
